Water Intake Screen (Dewatering Screen)
Moisture reduction and high-efficiency drying of materials
Performance and Structure
The water intake or dryer screen is a special vibrating screen designed to reduce surface water from wet materials. This device is usually used when reducing the moisture of the product is important. These screens operate similarly to a simple vibrating screen but have unique features to improve the dewatering process.
The components of these screens include a steel body, polyurethane mesh panels, an exciter or the main shaft of the device, high-frequency vibration motors, and vibration dampers.
Applications
- Dewatering of various minerals such as sand and gravel, iron ore, copper, gold, silver, phosphate, and coal.
- Used in the production lines of aggregates such as crushed stone, granite, basalt, and quartzite.
- Capability to manufacture with stainless steel material for acidic substances.
- Application in clay and shale processing.
